I grew up in the same type of environment. Drugs everywhere, violence everywhere, no opportunity, women and children abused constantly and people going missing all the time

no money, no power, no safety so you flee having nothing and nowhere to go or to be accepted but it's the only chance you'll ever have

I know these people because I was one and a large majority of them ESPECIALLY the women and children are nothing like you think or say

I'd probably be a lot more understanding if they didn't ALL decide to come... here.
