Quinnipiac has Cruz up like 9 points. I believe Quinpinniac over any other poll.

Actually I'm not that sure about their polls. They seem skewed left IMO. I don' t think they are lying, but rather, just not very good at polls.
I tend to think the Real Clear Politics polls are more accurate, balanced.

RCP doesn't conduct polls. They are a polling data aggregator. This Reuters/Ipsos poll will be added soon enough.

Beto has been successful in part because he's true to himself and honest. He tells Conservatives straight-up that he believes in things that they may disagree with. He's all about finding the common ground that exists between people rather than focusing on their differences. It's been a good strategy so far.

Cruz was on Vice News last night, he compared the Beto hype to Wendy Davis, which is silly. Beto is a much stronger candidate IMO.

On average, Davis polled 17 points behind Abbott. Not even close.

O'Rourke has real hype here. I've never seen as many yard signs for a political candidate in this state. That probably doesn't mean anything for O'Rourke in terms of numbers, but it does show he has a lot of voter enthusiasm.

Most races in Texas aren't close or interesting enough to care about. Even if a candidate wins by 20+ points, that doesn't necessarily translate to enthusiasm. No point in putting up an Abbott sign up when he's going to demolish his opponent.

I never said they ran the polls. The reason I feel they are more accurate is that they ARE a polling data aggregator. I would think that would be self evident.
