I mean, for all the well-deserved mocking of the Trump campaign and how it clinges to these silly, hopeless recount cases - let's not forget that Democratic donors just burned something like half a billion dollars on Senate races in Kentucky/South Carolina/Montana/Kansas, only to lose all of them by double digits.
