Fact is that she made a valid argument in this case. But sure, feel free to believe she's a complete moron who luckily fumbled into making a cogent argument when she actually wanted to say something stupid.


And yes, I believe that that a legislature which is supposed to be representative of the population (like the House) should also contain at least some persons without a college degree or with a less than perfect CV. Congress shouldn't be full with people like that, and they should never head committees or be appointed to cabinet posts or high-ranking executive offices - but the voice of people like Boebert should have some representation in the people's chamber. Like it or not, this is what large swaths of your country look like. The political class should be more elite than the population at large, but it should not consist of nothing but elites either.


All these arguments of course also apply on the Dem side which has its intellectual duds too, e.g. Maxine Waters.

Actually we have the most educated people then there ever was. So i dont understand where your getting these baseless claims.

Formal degrees ≠ actual education in the sense of Humboldt's Ideal of Education.

Today's generation has the highest amount of formal education ever, but the actual quality of school and university education has deteriorated for decades and reached the point where a lot of today's college graduates are shockingly ignorant and incapable of logical or critical thinking.

Less than 30% of the adult population knows what the three branches of government are now. The American IQ used to be ~105, but it has dropped to about 95 recently.

IMO, there's no point in having a representative democracy if you want to fill it with idiots. The fact that you want people like Ghot running your government is flat out absurd. I know that you love people who lack critical thinking skills because it benefits you politically, but this is a new low for you.
