I'm kinda over having these same debates again and again, but let me chime in for this specific point: do you realize that NATO member Turkey has the ability to close off the Bosporus any time they see fit and thus turn Russia's Black Sea fleet into an inland water navy? If push comes to shove, Sevastopol being ice free only helps Russia maintain a naval presence in front of tiny, geographically inaccessible countries like Georgia or Armenia, but not any further. This point is such a red herring.
Means absolutely NOTHING as far as losing Crimea / Sevastopol is concerned. Turkey can block it forever and Russia will still have it's naval base and NATO in that case doesn't, which is important to the Russians.

You conveniently don't mention that the Euromaidan protests started out peacefully and that Ukraine's president let his 'Berkut' special police violently crack down on the protesters.
Has nothing to do with the fact that the West orchestrated Maidan speeches and it's still unclear what exactly happened because shots were fired from the protester's side first, aimed at the police after which the police used a lot of force. You know that right or don't you?

So fucking what? Of course the West tried to tip the scales in his favor once the situation in Ukraine became volatile and the revolution/insurrection/coup was on its way. Russia tried to do the same, but failed. There's nothing inherently nefarious or discrediting about that.
The West
orchestrated that it's clear as day. The fucking speeches speak for themselves, lolThe west planned another round of NATO expansion, going for a couple countries that have a shit GDP of a couple hundred billion dollars, are corrupt shit holes, high crime rates and so on, the only fucking reason is their geographic locationsThis was the news before the war started, you won't hear this anymore BX. Literally says Euromaidan caused Russia to annex Crimea:
Quote
The massacre triggered the collapse of Ukraine's pro-Russian government, prompting Moscow to annex Crimea and sparking a separatist war in the east.
And:

At the time, riot police were blamed for the deaths, but they were not the only ones shooting that day.
