It's crystal clear that the West (not just the US) has an agenda --> to further NATO expansion. It's not possible that you're unaware of ongoing rounds of NATO expansion.
2008 NATO summit, NATO welcomes Ukraine and Georgia (future members). Check GDP of these countries, corruption, crime and ask yourself why NATO would even bother with these shit holes --> the answer is their geographic location, Black Sea control, Crimea, Sevastopol (Russia's important naval base / year round ice-free)
I'm kinda over having these same debates again and again, but let me chime in for this specific point: do you realize that NATO member Turkey has the ability to close off the Bosporus any time they see fit and thus turn Russia's Black Sea fleet into an inland water navy? If push comes to shove, Sevastopol being ice free only helps Russia maintain a naval presence in front of tiny, geographically inaccessible countries like Georgia or Armenia, but not any further. This point is such a red herring.

2014 Euromaidan --> Ukraine's president is overthrown because he did not sign the EU-Ukraine association agreement
You conveniently don't mention that the Euromaidan protests started out peacefully and that Ukraine's president let his 'Berkut' special police violently crack down on the protesters.

In 2014 McCain and Verhofstadt spoke at Maidan square, you've seen the vid I posted, if you didn't then go watch it. It's clear that McCain and Verhofstadt are encouraging the crowd. It's crystal clear.
So fucking what? Of course the West tried to tip the scales in his favor once the situation in Ukraine became volatile and the revolution/insurrection/coup was on its way.
Russia tried to do the same, but failed. There's nothing inherently nefarious or discrediting about that.
