I get threatened often. I've been physically attacked a few times... luckily I know how to handle myself. Violence takes many forms however. The intimidation of someone out of certain spaces is a form of violence. Certainly when antifascists talk about political violence they're not always talking about punching nazis. More often they're talking about blocking people from attending a rally or march, deplatforming people by various means... even flagging yourube videos or mass reporting facebook profiles etc. Violence, especially political violence, isn't as crude as simply smacking someone upside the head.

Lately i've been thinking a bit about these radical leftist sideshow clowns being too much of a distraction in modern political discourse.
There are plenty of real problems that can and should be addressed, but instead we are diverted to focusing on defending the basics of human civilization from mentally ill LARPers and buzzfeed intellectuals.

The bar for who is seen in a positive light is pushed incredibly low.
Some doucher like shapiro is rallied around because he effectively and humorously deals with the deranged left.

In terms of the election Ben Shapiro and Churchgirl69 don't really matter. Or Milo. Or any of the stupid shit you seem to think is important as political discourse. Fuck cam. Real problems are being addressed. Border wall, health care, foreign conflicts and entanglements, state biopower in reproductive health, taxes, two supreme court justices, important discourse beyond homophobic bakers is happening.

What a sad world we live in where anything left of centre is declared 'radical'. Are there any democratic candidates that are even socialists? I mean even Bernie is a social democrat right? They're all capitalists afaik.

This should really show any observer all they need to know. This is why we need to fight fascists. Because we have created fertile soil for the Seeger's seeds to grow. new media is tearing down the established manufactured consent of old media. people are again talking about fundamental ideas of how societies should be constructed instead of taking the status quo for granted. i think it's a pretty alright thing, but atm it's not a very big factor in actual politics like skinned said.
