... to protect whom? I categorically reject the idea that children should have to wear masks to protect adults who refuse to get vaccinated. I would prefer to have no mandates at all, but if forced to pick, I would rather put up with a vaccine mandate for all adults than a mask mandate for school children.
Their parents and/or grandparents. vaccines dont have perfect effectiveness against covid, and that's for plain old air travel of the disease. how about the people who bath them, wash their clothes, snuggle them or hug them daily, use common accommodations like bathrooms, sinks and showers, etc.
if an unvaccinated child goes to school, catches covid, and then comes home. the efficacy studies weve seen on vaccines are junk, the adult is going to get it far more often than those show, vaccinated or not.
