Sounds like r/politics. Yes, the sub is THAT liberal. They're ostensibly a neutral sub, but actually have almost as much bias as r/conservative. It's wild. At the height of the Afghanistan news cycle, you had to browse to the 2nd or 3rd page of r/politics to find any article referencing the botched withdrawal while the first and most of the second page were filled with sjw and climate stuff.
r/politics is bad but it's at least tolerable when there isn't an election. There's a heavy slant in the user base but the moderators are fine. I've actually been downvoted for saying that everyone needs to pay their fair share.

You just need to filter by controversial and you'll be fine.
r/conservative is a whole other beast that continues to get worse and worse. Ever since they banned TheDonald, it's been overrun by a bunch of neanderthals. There's so much anti-vax and "election was stolen" shit that it's honestly painful to read. You should take a look at r/PoliticalDiscussion and r/NeutralPolitics.
