But if I don’t have a blue checkmark how are the peasants supposed to know my opinion is more important than theirs!?

the irony of AOC constantly railing on rich people having too much cash, then getting upset that rich verified people have to pay less than a netflix sub to keep their verification (and the bonuses that come along with it) is hilarious.

twitter is a cornerstone of our society according to her ilk, and also shouldnt charge 3 mountain dews per month to millionaires and billionaires....

- Various governements agencies will have as much "IDs" as they want, there's no real certification possible.
- Regular users proposing interesting, specialized or original content will be penalized. (It's pretty clear the algorithms will follow money)

the algorithm already prioritizes checkmark posters. why wouldn't it?

I’m rooting for Elon. I think he can make it more profitable than ever.

Im just hoping he doesn’t alienate all of the old staff, that would be fatal.
