No, of course not?!
All the points I cited from this article are excellent and important. There are indeed huge question marks surrounding Biden's actual agenda, and on Tuesday, he largely weaseled out of answering them.
Trump of course also had his weak moments on policy, he was also bullshitting a lot and failed to make a cogent case for why he should be president for another 4 years...
I can answer them. Keep in mind I work in politics and often do consulting work for the people in charge of messaging. I'm not just riffing.
1. He absolutely will not do anything on the AOC version of the GND. The website quote that the GND is a "framework" for an alternative Biden Plan is all you need to know. His plan will be based on increased fracking and continuing to replace coal plants with natural gas (which is already happening because of simple economics but he and the establishment Dems will take credit for "lowering emissions" anyway), and there will be no green jobs guarantees or anything else from the plan included.
He can't answer this in the debates because he will lose way too many progressive voters to beat Trump if he tells the truth.
2. Not answering the "packing the court" question is just part of the "stop ramming through an appointment because it could lead to a slippery slope" talking point the Party is using to appease their base before the election. They don't actually intend to do anything to stop Barret's appointment or to pack the courts if they win. They just need fundraising talking points.
