The peaceful protestors are responding to violence initiated by right wingers. Fighting fascists is anti-violence.

not sure how many folks who have never been affiliated with antifa were rioting in Kenosha. But many interviews I've heard from the ground, residents easily pick out antifa members and number them in the 20-30 range. Obviously a group that small would not be able to do the damage we've seen.

My points is, a group of agitators can make a situation like this so much worse. I have a personal example to share that I'm sure will be called hyperbole - and that's probably a fair argument TBH.

In 2011 the Vancouver Canucks lost the Stanley Cup in game 7 at home and a riot ensued. Many aspersions were cast on Canucks fans for being bloodthirsty criminal rioters. I'm in the unique position of having known not only a few of the rioters, but one of the main most wanted rioters because he literally was the first one to start breaking glass. The second he threw a fencing segment into the bank windows, EVERYBODY AROUND HIM began following his example.

here's the caveat - This particular riot starter was never a fan of hockey - never watched a game in his life - and when he was subjected to it - never stopped complaining about how stupid sports were. He grew up a total geek but became an alpha hipster in his 20s.

That's just a personal experience that is about Canadian hockey, and not race relations in America - so I accept any abject criticism that would tear this analogy apart (or seek to find its meaning which I'm not quite sure of yet)

Rittenhouse had charges for resisting arrest, according to you conservatives he should have been shot dead and none of this would have happened, or is that only a rule you guys have for black people?

"Kenosha police arrested nine people for disorderly conduct on Wednesday evening after they filled gas cans at a city gas station, the department said Thursday.

Riot Kitchen, a Seattle-based non-profit that serves food at demonstrations, said its members were filling up gas cans for their vehicles and to power a generator for their food truck, and posted a bystander’s video on Twitter that it said showed the arrests.

In the video, black SUVs converge on a minivan at an intersection near a gas station. Several officers in heavy vests get out pointing guns at the van. Moments later an officer shatters the passenger side window with a baton, unlocks the van and pulls out a person who does not appear to offer any resistance.

Police said they received a tip about “suspicious vehicles” with out-of-state license plates, and arrested the group on the suspicion that they were “preparing for criminal activity.” Police said they found fireworks, gas masks, helmets, heavy vests and “suspected controlled substances” in the vehicles.

Reads like a segment from Trump's stump speech rather than a statement from an advocacy group. It's like... I agree with most of the senitment in this statement, but it comes across angry and unprofessional.
