I called it long ago, Iran is just too weak. When the Ayatollah relies on terror and demoralization to stay in power, no one's actually motivated to do anything.
Iran basically blew their load on Israel and sure a couple missiles got through with a few civilian deaths - is that all they can muster? The threats on X where afterwards nothing happens is making them lose any credibility they may have had
Ya, iran absolutely cannot defend itself from the israeli air force ( even though irans f14 tomcats are cute)
I personally believe that iran can still put up a hell of a fight, and it STILL has the ability to destroy israel with its current stockpiles of munitions, but its a very complex and delicate situation for them.
1. The US of A has moved a metric shiton of toys that can shoot down missiles all across the M/E. They got toys littered across all their bases in the region, and errbodys on high-alert.
2. Iran would have to launch atleast like 30-40% of their missles to get the damage required to achive parity in terms of destructive force against the israelis. If they do that though, Israel wipes em off the map. Britain and the US wouldnt need to even help that much (besides refuelling)
3. Iran is a one-trick pony. They put all their chips down on missle trch/drone tech and basically said meh to the rest of their conventional army. This approach definitely suits their geography but does categorically nothing against Israels air force.
Tl;dr: iran cant defend itself against israel, and its only deterrent gets it glassed if ever used in a decapitation-like strike, but it does have the means to destroy israel in kind ( obviously debatable)
I know iran looks weak as fuck right now and the israelis are curb-stomping them to the nines, but irans missile program is no joke. Iran deserves more respect than it gets because they are completely unaware of how hard it is to go toe to toe against israel, the us, and Britain, all while being sanctioned.
These missles are built underground, transported via a rail system and then fired underground where satellites cant trace em. Its actually very impressive for a ME country.
