you drop bernie?
I'm still a Bernie Sanders fan. I think he was the best candidate for president and had the best vision for America. Of the major candidates, I think he was America's best shot at electing a truly inspiring and potentially great president. I've never heard of a great US president who ran on "getting the job done" vs talking about grand and important changes that our country needs. But Bernie is eliminated, and he has been for quite some time.
I don't think Hillary is very trustworthy, but I'd be a fool to say Hillary Clinton's 2016 policy positions (as opposed to her 2012, 2008, 2004, 2000, or 1996, etc positions) aren't mostly similar to Bernie's ideas. They differ in a few key areas, but for the most part, they are very similar.
As someone who mostly identifies as a Liberal, she is the choice that most aligns with my opinions and views. In America, you rarely vote for exactly who you want, and that's what I'm doing here. I don't want someone like Trump to tear up the Iran Nuclear Deal or other important global alliances, and if HRC more or less keeps the Obama administration's foreign policy plan, I will be happy. She is a little more war-hawkish than Obama, though.
Lastly, she will nominate Supreme Court Justices that better fit with my views of the Constitution as a living document to create a "more perfect Union" rather than a Republican president who would likely nominate another textualist or originalist that often interprets their own personal beliefs or religion rather than the law. And there is currently a SCOTUS vacancy, so this election is very important in that regard.
