I don't think being a racist is a protected class like age, ability, gender, sex, race....we still have ways to go.

Is your definition of a racist a blanket label being applied to every person that says a phrase like "All Lives Matter", a person that doesn't 100% agree with the mob mentality in regards to systemic racism/white privilege, a person that refuses to kneel/be bullied into an ideology, a person that supports the police, a person that opposes the group 'Black Lives Matter', or every white person involved in a conflict with a black person?

Because that's what the United States has become.

A person who doesn't believe police brutality towards blacks should be addressed or who turns a blind eye to it and doesn't see it, is by most definitions, a racist piece of shit.

Being able to say or not say a phrase is a seperate thing altogether.... but saying that black lives matter is an act that is a values statement that states you are against excessive police brutality, and not saying it or saying all lives matter is supporting excessive police brutality towards black people.

I disagree, you can oppose police brutality towards blacks and still reject the Black Lives Matter movement. If I don't support that organization, I will not be chanting that organizations slogan.

Yes you can. You can reject the movement and say the words black lives matter if you believe they do.

If you can't say black lives matter then that is indicative of something. If you can't say their lives matter and you wish to do nothing to change the social dynamic then you're actually a racist regardless of political affiliation.

Right now there is a conflict between people who want a just society and people who support police brutality. There is also no neutral or noninvolvement.

You can't say all lives matter without black lives mattering.

If black lives matter than all lives can matter.

All lives matter, therefore all black lives matter.

You are affirming the consequent, shitlord, learn2logic.

so we agree on the bold. i already said black lives matter and i said all lives matter.

so I literally said black lives matter twice. I think one should be required to state this sequence otherwise they are racist

*LAUGH OUT LOUD*

What about people who turn a blind eye to the thousands of blacks dying from gang violence in Democratic cities?

This weekend 9 people were killed in Chicago. Over the entire year of 2019 9 unarmed black men were killed by police. I think we can agree both are bad but one is definitely worse than the other yet the left acts like it does not exist.

Not only that, what about whites dying from white violence? We can't turn a blind eye to that. Our whiteys are being killed by the thousands in rural towns.

Racism has a ton of bad effects on blacks, it isnt limited to outright murder. Even if there were only 9 unarmed black men killed by the police in 2019, there were still thousands who were beaten up or otherwise subjected to humiliating, denigrating behavior.

On top of that, the marginalization, the bad economic situation and the general lack of opportunity in black communities are the most important among several explanatory factors for the high levels of black-on-black crime. I certainly dont buy into the narrative from the liberal side that racism and discrimination are the only reason why black communities are fucked up, but at the same time, it's impossible for me to deny that these things contribute massively to their blight. And that's coming from me, someone who's as conservative on racial issues as it possibly gets without crossing the "racism event horizon".
