I never really understand the more people should be packing in public argument

Cops have no idea which are good and which are bad when they arrive on scene. This isn't a western movie, the good guys aren't in white and the bad aren't in black

situations in darkened rooms like theaters or poppin' gay bars are going to be near impossible for people to decipher good from bad especially in the midst of chaos

and that's just when something rare like this happens it also opens up all sorts of other issues like accidents, escalated disputes, etc in the meantime
