Cancel culture is a buzzword on fox news. Nobody gives a fuck because its not really a thing. People just consume what is entertaining. Shitty things get cancelled and its just capitalism. Bitching about cancel culture is like a business bitching because nobody is buying their shitty products but they feel entitled to be in business for some reason. You're in business as long as you're useful and when you're not a factor of production anymore then you're disposed of.

People on the right believe they should have captive audiences, people shouldn't be fired from jobs for terrible things and people should be forced to watch the shitty people they love, the people who play sports should just shut up and entertain them and be quiet in the fields...like the height of human expression as sport is done for their fleeting entertainment and the humanity of those doing it does not matter. Their regard for the athelete is like the regard the romans had for the slaves in the arena. Don't talk and ruin my enjoyment. The level of entitlement is amazing.

Its almost as if the story of a story driven game was leaked ahead of time and people hated it

also the most hated plot line was very early in the game, which many people who disliked the game have already played on day 1.
