Because it's one of the largest sporting stages in the world, and at that age they probably wanted one last hurrah. Them also being the first trans-gendered Olympian also provided some motivation to go. Their lifts were competitive in the female division and thats why they were allowed to go in the first place.

If you're fishing via stupid questions to try to judge if I support males that transition to females competing in competitive sports, ill save you time from writing further dumb questions, I do not.

they don't have the test advantage, you'll not see this. unless it's like a super weird case.

I would suggest that if transgender athletes are competing, that by default they compete in the men's league.

If they're not good enough to qualify, they're not good enough to qualify.

The typical argument is men are bigger faster and stronger and that transition to a female does not remove the history of muscle build up, ligaments, skeletal structure, all the other biological traits men have and thus gives them advantage.

By saying everyone has to compete in a men's league except biological females this removes any of that argument. If a woman transitions to a man and destroys in the men's league good for them, they were clearly good enough and would have dominated the female league too.


I feel it makes the most groups happy. The only group that might not be happy are the males transitioning to females. But in this world you cant make everyone happy but this upsets the absolute smallest group and they can still compete if they want to they just have to with men.

But what bout #EQUALITY ? You remove that freedom from men who want to become women.

I just said what happens. I said you cant please every group so go with upsetting the absolute smallest one.
