i wonder as i read your post if social media, where teens face direct consequences for posting images of them smoking cigs, weed, drinking beers, etc. will cause those "cool" things to fall out of favor, due to kids getting their positive feedback increasingly online more and more.

you post a BLM banner and get 200 likes, you post you drinking a warm busch lite from ur dad's garage and you get a ticket and grounded. easy choice.
