Have you read where you are? You are in the PaRD section. The R stands for RELIGIOUS and the D stands for DEBATE.

Secondly, you are in a thread that is titled: How To Get To Heaven When You Die

So you come into a very particular thread and are trying to tell us not to post Bible verses?

You might as well go into a farm, head straight for the hen house and tell those chickens not to lay those eggs.

Oh and I guess the next thing you are going to tell me is that the Harry Potter movies were all inspired by some books?

You can post bible verses all you want, but as long as you debate with me specifically they are not of any use for you or me or the debate, I can only tell you that repeadetly so that you might understand it at some point.

Not a problem at all, but it just goes to show that all the things you cherish and love are the result of Christianity

synthesizing that knowledge can help you convert

I dont love the Lord of the Rings, that was just an example.

already wreaked your precious "macro" evolution to a point wee you have accepted imaginary explanations as viable facts just to keep your worldview intact.
right to the point............ your religious

There is no "precious macro evolution" for me. Evolution is overall not very precious to me, thats just you making assumptions.

I am not religious by any means, sry to disappoint you.

Then why are you here? Let's do a debate on one of the Parables then shall we?

Matthew 13:1-9, 13:18-23

The Parable of the Sower:

13 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2 Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

Here Jesus is talking about 4 reactions to hearing the message about the kingdom. Which of these 4 do you see yourself as or somehow is this not relevant?

Why am I here? To debate with grown ups.

If you wanna prove the bible by quoting the bible ITSELF then you should join a group of kindergarten kids and not debate with grown ups.

You are the only one here who doesnt get that.

Nice dodge, unfortunately it doesn't work with me. The reason you don't want to debate the Bible is that you are afraid you're lack of understanding will get exposed. You don't want the Bible quoted in the hopes that you don't get to debate anything beyond your understanding.

Unfortunately for you, the elder version of me saw right through you. Now tell me why the Parable of the Sower is not relevant in your life?

I dont need to dodge anything. What I say is nothing but the truth. Also I am not afraid to get "exposed". I am sure you know the bible a thousand times better than me, in fact it would be pretty embarrassing for you if it wasnt that way.

The thing is we are here to talk about the reality of god. A book can not answer that question in one direction or the other, thats why its not of relevance.

I dont know why you think your quoted bible wisdom is of any relevance as if anyone would not have figured anything out without it.
Thats all pure uninspired postcard wisdom. Nothing bible exclusive, its random stories with totally random moral messages. No depth involved, never of any complexity.

Get over it.

takes a hel of a lota faith to believe the most complex interdependent systems known to man are the result of some kinds of accidental random process. more faith than i could ever have
