Not a single case of child to adult transmission has ever been seen yet.

I find that really hard to believe. Regardless, our children are no longer being indoctrinated by radical leftists and teachers unions.

If they are all young and healthy and self-isolate for 2 weeks afterwards, that's actually helpful. That's an unrealistically big "if" though, but still.... if pulled off in responsible and controlled fashion, this approach might not be all that bad.

Don’t disagree with you. But that area of the state it is more than likely in the protest vein. I could be wrong. But all of them being responsible I doubt it

So, considering the various reasons for miscounting and tabulating them altogether, do you think they add up to a national count that was higher or lower than 61k on Apr30?

was it both higher and lower?

I think the evidence establishes that there's a huge degree of uncertainty and variance and it could be significantly lower, or higher. And therefore informed respondents forced to give a higher, lower or equal answer to a loaded question might have legitimate reasons to give whichever answer

Trump's taskforce is disbanded, and being a wartime president facing an existential foe didn't fit on his political timeline. Time for more campaigning i guess.

Hope he summons large gatherings of his supporters together.

Japan. Translation from a French expert interview.

Few contacts

"500 deaths out of 126 million inhabitants is very little. Deaths in retirement homes may not all be recorded. But it would be difficult to camouflage thousands of deaths. The original case of Japan is that "It seems that, without having implemented drastic measures, the number of deaths remains limited", she underlines.

Several explanations for this, according to Valérie Niquet: "In Japan, we don't touch each other very much. All the doors are almost automatic. We wear a mask. We don't kiss, even within our family. There is a tradition of "very developed hygiene, which makes that Japan was saved by cholera. There are finally very few obese people, more vulnerable to the coronavirus".

Sweden from Reddit news

The head of Sweden's coronavirus response said the country's high death toll has "come as a surprise" and is "really something we worry a lot about."...no-lockdown strategy was not a conscious decision in favor of more deaths instead Tegnell said that high toll was not part of the plan.

It's a respiratory virus. We aren't looking for "child to adult transmission" because it's obvious that it will happen. Unless you have some source specifically saying it can't.....
