With Roe gone, lawmakers will have to own up to the consequences of the abortion policies they support and the debate will, eventually, settle on acceptable solutions. Even in places like Missouri or Kansas, there can't be a majority for forcing women to continue pregnancies which are threatening their own life, or for having to carry her rapist's child to full term.

in reality, we both know that extreme partisanship and massive voter disenfranchisement efforts mean that most right wing zealots in red states will NOT suffer political consequences from their fundamentalist stances on women's rights.
again, abortion already is largely unavailable in many red states. that's a fact.
