If I had to guess the factors in order
-feminist demonization of the housewife
-social media
-welfare for single parents
-obesity
-PlasmaSnake
-no fault divorce and frivolous domestic courts
-boys and girls in families w/ no male role model
-inflation of the dollar / wages
-women delaying marriage ‘til late 20’s or later
-decay of the church
-companies that prefer women to be single because they spend more money that way
The big deal with social media/online dating these days is that at college or high school in the 90’s is you would only compete with your immediate peers. Now you are competing with Ashton Kutcher, an NBA player, some wealthy guy with a beach house upstate, and the other 1,000 simps sliding in her DM’s - which is probably fun for the women but definitely raises their expectations unattainably high too.
