Democrats run a partisan impeachment probe in the House and then act flabbergasted that they're going to get a partisan trial in the Senate.

Pelosi is too old to contest with the left-wing of her party. It's time to retire.

She's doing so well though. She controls a small portion of the government and the rest of the government has just been following her around, reacting to her actions.

Pelosi is the tail that is wagging the Republican dog.

i agree generally right > left here. but also think that's tempered WAY back compared to a GWB or similar type guy, because Trump's brand is so anti-intervention.

I don’t think he wants an intervention, he’s in minimal danger to lose the election and while starting a conflict has historically helped the incumbent, who knows after Iraq.

Take the win and move away now. He placed additional Iran sanctions, Iran’s move next if they are gonna do anything. If America does anything more without further Iran action will be chaotic

Yeah that's my hope and guess for what happens. Both sides take a "win" and move on.

Crypto markets hit a huge spike, not sure if it was due to this. Conventional markets dipped at the same time. Now they're falling again, so idk. BTC has been on a slow bull run since hitting 7k, 9k possible but so is a dip to 7k.

Oil off its highs and still falling

Spy still breaking records

I think Iran needs to swallow their pride here and accept general is gg. Another action and America will almost be forced to respond.

oh yeah they have to wait for sure. maybe closer to the election they could pull some shit hoping Trump wont respond harshly to avoid it hurting him. but right now they're staring at a loaded gun with a knife in hand.

Yep, they should cut their losses and move on. Domestically, they were forced to do something about the killing of their general. They attacked two heavily fortified bases in Iraq that the US was already on high-alert to defend. It was more of a gesture than anything else.

Politically, they are isolating Trump for being the culprit in all of this rather than the US. They know that the US is in domestic political turmoil right now and are taking advantage of that with their public statements.

It’s hard to really be that upset over his speech this AM tbh. If anything the hawks would be upset

Granted I do acknowledge it’s hard for SOME trump supporters to figure out themselves if they are hawk or anti hawk as they try to keep up with trumps drums :)

the paper tiger couldnt shoot down 3rd worlder rockets .
nr.1 lol

The Fateh 110 is not a "3rd world rocket." The Iranians used them recently with great accuracy taking out oil storage tanks at Saudi Aramco facilities. If they wanted to hit barracks buildings, they would have.
