Quinnipiac poll just dropped out of Texas. Cruz is up 9 points. Abbot is up 19 points in the Texas governor race.

lol why are they even polling the governors race?

anyway, cruz up by 9 is what I expected. he's a weak candidate running against a really strong candidate in a democrat-friendly national environment, but he's still not gonna lose his Texas seat.
