You are missing a key piece of information here. It doesn't matter how long they worshipped this invisible god, they still wrote the book telling others that they were selected to be chosen people. Thats like Kim Jong Un deciding to write a book about himself that his farts don't smell and he is chosen by god to lead his people. Complete propaganda. Other religions claim the same thing by their followers, Babylonians, Athens, Rome, and Aztecs, masai etc all believe they are chosen. Jews, christians, muslims all believe they are special and think that god is on their side.
God has free will but randomly decides to help some jews over 3470 years ago and never again. Especially in the age of video cameras and photographs. You would think his so called chosen people who prayed to this god for thousands of years couldn't of at least had a few gates opened for them by this amazing god. Nope, the invisible wizard stayed invisible (insert shocked Pikachu face)
Whats next you will tell us he works in mysterious ways?
The memes expose the kindergarten logic used by the religious people in a humorous way. You can't take anything they say seriously if you just step back for a minute and look at what they are saying like an adult.
https://imgur.com/CcC23Ev.jpegdid you read the old testament? the jews constantly fucked up and disobeyed God and God used others to punish them when their entire society outside of a couple of people were absolutely degenerate and disobedient. They were chosen to fulfill a role, but it's not like they were chosen because they were perfect or that made them perfect, they in fact constantly messed up but the living God slow to angry and full of mercy. The old testament is not propaganda for the jews if read correctly, all of their flaws are on full display.
God didn't "randomly" decide to help jews then never again, the point of the old testament is to bring Christ into the world. The modern day talmudic jews are not the same people in the old testament, they rejected God and unironically say 'Lo Bashamayim Hi' (It is not in Heaven), to argue that Rabbis now have more authority than God and rabbis make their own laws now. They changed and made a new religion, we didn't, and the spirit of Abraham lives on in Christians who accepted their messiah in the flesh. Though, just like anyone, talmudic jews (who follow the talmud, a book of human rules written by rabbis) may convert and accept their prophetic messiah at any time.
eventually the lineage lead to Christ and the same spiritual lineage are modern day Christians who constantly mess up as well, it's never a "perfect" people, the number of people who are sinless are very few and I can personally think of like 4 and 3 of those are divine people.
