A mob of leftists organized to invade a Minneapolis church because an ICE staffer also works as a Pastor at the church. They flooded into the pews and disrupted the service en masse with chanting to stop sunday worship.
The feds are now investigating this as a violation of the FACE act, and this appears to be a textbook example where the 1st amendment rights protecting free worship are clearly trumping the 1st amendment rights protecting protesters, and allowing criminal prosecutions

Congress passed the bill because of anti-abortion protesters blocking access to clinics, delineating how you can legally protest against abortion at abortion clinics, but only if you're not blocking the entrances and preventing people actually using its services.
But the act specifically gave equal protections to places of worship, because back in the 1990s we actually made bipartisan deals in congress instead of putting knives at our own party's respective throats and only legislating unilaterally
And who led this mob seemingly totally ignorant of the law that exists specifically to stop them doing what they decided to do? Don fucking lemon

Fortunately the FACE Act is a federal law not a state one so it actually might get enforced in this case. Its a misdemeanor for a first-time (statute-specific) offender so its not like its the most serious thing ever, and even specifies that in cases with non-physical obstruction at most 6 months / $10,000 fine. This would be a pretty easy prosecution and pretty easy plea deal, in a normal world its just a fine and restitution and no jail time.
