Deep down I think the probability it came from China is somewhat low.

If COVID instead leaked from a private company, the easiest way to cover it up would be to blame China and plant a few fake breadcrumbs to keep the world engaged and enraged with a fake story. Media companies are owned by their advertisers, so this would honestly be the most likely scenario by Occam's razor.

There were never bats sold at the Wuhan wet market. No pictures ever existed with bats there.
