And I know a lot about abortion, and have a very black and white view of it. I don't support it in any way, shape, or form. It's the murder of unborn babies. Done. On the flipside, if abortion is a "right" as US society appears to have determined it is, then reasons should be meaningless. If a prospective parent wants to abort their child because it's going to be mentally defective, or the wrong gender, or whatever else, fine, "their body, their choice" right? Yet that's not the case. As I said, look up abortion specific bans in the US. What you'll find is that many states, again red and blue, have active bans on gender and genetic defect specific abortions. If "liberals" were trying to encourage the abortion of autistic children, those bans would not exist, at least, not in the blue states, and they'd be challenged in the red states. Yet they're pretty much not.

If you have a black and white view of abortion and don't come down firmly on the side of the mother's right to bodily autonomy then you are simply statist scum that isn't worth having a conversation with (oh and by the way nobody with any inkling of science knowledge would ever say that the unborn is a baby since baby refers to children that are born and fetus is the term for unborn so your description is emotionally loaded and inaccurate). In reality leftists and liberals alike both have a perfectly consistent view of this topic that aligns with the universal declaration of human rights, the geneva convention, and is reinforced by decades of philosophy from people of all genders and sexes and it's pathetic that after so long I still have to explain such basic concepts to willfully ignorant "people" like yourself. A ban on abortion for gender specific reasons is also bad and not the correct stance because it is akin to saying that a woman has to have a man inside of her against her will. It is literally allowing a lesbian to be raped because you are not allowing her to remove an unwanted penis now you didn't think of that did you? Of course not why would you, you just want to enforce your will on others and don't really care about rights or autonomy. You would rather write into law that women can be raped because children wouldn't exist otherwise, that's the logical conclusion to conservatives arguments like yourself and you should really just own up to being a statist who is only concerned with violating the rights of consenting individuals. I mean honestly if you said it was nuanced and woman still have the rights that's fine too, I'm not saying you can't have black and white decision, I'm just saying that if you are going to make it black and white you should get at least a basic education and make sure to figure out what's right before forcing your view on everybody else.

Even the stance that "liberals" are pro-choice is false unless you add the word "some" or "many" beforehand, and "pro-choice" is a misrepresentation of the stance in the first place. When a woman chooses to have sex, she makes the choice. As with any choice, pregnancy is a consequence. The idea that women can commit murder to avoid the consequence of their choices is a very "progressive" ideal.

And why are you misrepresenting me? I said my stance is black and white. I don't support abortion. However, since abortion appears to be a "right" then the reason for the abortion shouldn't matter in the slightest. If doctors determine it's going to be the gender you don't want, or that it's going to have genetic defects, so what? Are those worse reasons to abort than, "I don't want to lose my figure"?

And trying to claim that unborn babies are rapists because they have a penis is just LOL. You've hit rock bottom, Thor. A secondary question: Why is a lesbian pregnant in the first place?

Which states have bans on gender/genetic defect abortions? You can do a NIPT prior to 3 months which means you can have an abortion no questions asked. It seems like whatever bans are in place are completely toothless vs. the liberal desire to implement Hitler's vision.

An unborn fetus has no bodily autonomy violated when you remove it from the mother. I am not violating your bodily autonomy by kicking you out of your house when you refuse to pay your mortgage. Bodily autonomy by definition is limited to your body. Man it's really sad that I have to explain this kind of thing to you. How does a grown adult in the modern world not understand basic philosophical concepts like bodily autonomy?
