The left absolutely does not want to abort autistic children, which by the way is a misnomer since you can't abort a child since a fetus is by definition not a child and anybody with a basic scientific understanding gets that. In reality the left has a perfectly consistent stance on abortion that stems from a fundamental respect for womyn, minority rights, black rights, trans rights, disabled rights, and every other kind of right imaginable. This stance was formed over hundreds of years through great thinkers such as Karl Marx, Leibniz, Newton, Charles Darwin, and several others that only highly educated individuals such as myself and most other people on the left can understand. If you had ever read past introductory philosophy you would understand the complex intersection between rights to bodily autonomy and the rights of the disabled to live how they want, and I wouldn't be needing to explain such basic concepts to you. but then again you probably live in a backwater flyover conservative shit hole where they prefer to spend their days banging sheep rather than engaging in intellectually rigorous debate and furthering the education of all of humanity. Hmm... This doesn't sound accurate. There are abortion bans in several states, both blue and red, that are sought out due to genetic defects and/or specific gender. So if you hate kids it's okay to abort them. But if you learn your kid's going to be defective, and don't want to deal with it, you're stuck.
