Yeah, I agree there's some hypocrisy, but you seem to care about their opinion of you. Why do want to be accepted by them so badly? You'd still hold the same 9/11 tin foil hat opinion whether they are thin or not lol

It's not that i care bout people opinions. What i am trying to say is, if you are hypocrite (Not you but people in general), don't ask people to do shit.

Like my Covid point for example.

A Woman Who Coughed On Store Food, Claiming She Had Coronavirus, Gets A Jail Sentence
August 24, 20215:26 PM ET
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A Pennsylvania woman who pleaded guilty to coughing and spitting on food at a supermarket in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic was sentenced Tuesday to at least a year in jail.

Margaret Ann Cirko, 37, pleaded guilty in June to a felony count of making bomb threats.

Authorities said Cirko entered a Gerrity's Supermarket location in Hanover Township, near Wilkes-Barre, on March 25, 2020, and purposely coughed on fresh produce and other merchandise while yelling that she had the virus and that everyone would get sick.

Joe Fasula, co-owner of the supermarket chain, said that over $35,000 worth of merchandise had to be thrown out as a result of what Gerrity's had called a "twisted prank."

Cirko tested negative for COVID-19, according to her attorney, who said she was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Cirko apologized in court Tuesday.

"I wish I could take it back," she said.

A Luzerne County judge called Cirko's conduct "totally outrageous" and sentenced her to one to two years in jail, to be followed by eight years of probation. She also was ordered to pay nearly $30,000 in restitution.

The death of George Floyd and the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement led corporate America to acknowledge its decades of silence. That led them to take an active role in confronting and ending systemic racism.

Corporate America’s 50 biggest public companies began proclaiming Black Lives Matter and collectively committed $49.5 billion toward racial equity. An analysis by the Washington Post reveals how the funds were distributed.

One of the key findings in the Post’s corporate America analysis was that 90% or $42.5 billion that was pledged came in the form of loans or investments. However, many of the companies stand to profit from the pledges.

Additionally, more than half the funds allocated came in the form of mortgages. Two banks, JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America accounted for almost all of those commitments.

The other $4.2 billion corporate America pledged came in the form of grants. However, of that amount, just $71 million went to organizations focused on criminal justice reform. The original reason millions of Black Americans began protesting in the streets after Floyd’s death.

Of the $4.2 billion, $2.1 billion went toward economic equality, $502 million went to education, and $304 million went toward health initiatives. Funds also went to community investments, criminal justice, and civil rights organizations. Additionally, $831 million went to other categories that were not identified by the Post.

The $4.2 billion in grants, which are to be distributed over the next decade, account for less than 1% of the $525.6 billion in net income earned last year by the top 50 companies in corporate America.

“Corporations are not set up to wield their power for the greater good as much as we give them credit for, a lot of times,” Phillip Atiba Goff, a professor at Yale University who co-founded the Center for Policing Equity, told the Post. “They are constrained by things they feel they need to do to manage their brand in a world where Black liberation does not have consensus.”

Una Osili, an associate dean at Indiana University who leads the research and publication of Giving USA, the annual report of American philanthropy, said it wouldn’t be easy to tell if the pledges will deliver actionable results. Especially considering no single entity is tracking the funds or where they go, and corporations aren’t required to report on the funds.

Some 20 organizations in corporate America gave to the National Urban League, 19 gave to HBCUs and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, 18 Gave to the Equal Justice Initiative, and 13 gave directly to the NAACP.

Reckless male priviledge abuse by Scaly and friends. A teen was beaten after stating some inconvenient facts. To no-ones surprise, the perps were given a slap on the wrist for their outrageous lack of self control.

Its 2020-2021, so the transphobe probably had it coming.

Judge Nigel Seed told the gang: ‘I accept that had it not been for the alleged victim in this case there probably wouldn’t have been an incident.

‘The four of you then were subjected to extremely offensive transphobic and racial abuse. Had it not been for that there would have been no violent disorder.

Completely agree, makes you wonder why this rationale didn't change some minds in the Chauvin spectacle

ironic that someone saying "you're not women" is also not a man, because he got beaten unconscious by 4 women in dresses.
