govts can remove rights,

To me, when a government "removes" a right, it merely means that they are trampling on said right. For example, if my government ignored due process and murdered me, I would say my right to life had been trampled upon, I would not say that this right doesn't exist anymore.

For private citizens, yes. But for businesses, no. Businesses are already prohibited by law from discriminating.

From discriminating against protected classes. They're still allowed to discriminate against everything else

Then having a right is meaningless because the government can do literally anything and you would still saying that you have it

Don't businesses discriminate against age all the time based on either state or federal laws implemented? Do they not have right to ask for an ID to conform to these rules?

If a person is unwilling to provide it service can be rejected.

Right, and I am advocating adding vaccination status to the protected classes.

The fact that a patron's arm hasn't been pierced with a hypodermic needle should not preclude him from accessing a business.

semantics wont change that you're dead.

agree or disagree with the states monopoly on legalized violence and retribution, and i disagree with it, it still exists.

that's how life works, your recognition of things rarely alters reality.

You are correct. And perhaps my post wasn't clear. Businesses are prohibited from discriminating against certain classes.

And in this case, I would say the business is not truly discriminating based on age. It is just following the government's rule.

And that's dumb. Decisions have consequences. You can't legislate away consequences for choice.

Except we are not arguing about whether I am dead or not. We are arguing about whether rights can be taken away by a government. I said no.

I don't disagree with this.

*Shrug* You can keep saying that I fail to grasp reality or whatever. I don't care.

And vaccine passports will just be following government rule. It's not the business you should have issues with its the government if you're against it. The business is just trying to protect themselves from potential future liabilities.

I never said decisions don't have consequences. I am just saying that businesses should not discriminate based on vaccination status.

If you want businesses to be able to do that, you will need to convince us why. So far you haven't done that.
