I've seen enough anti-mask posts around the Interwebz where people claim that masks trap CO2 and cause carbon dioxide poisoning, or that oxygen levels get too low because of masks. These same posts will, in the same breath, argue that masks let the virus through (never mind the fact that O2/CO2 molecules are 1/250th the size of a virus).

masks cause a semi stagnant bubble at the mouth it will not have a full exchange of air for the same reason the humidity in the mask builds up. The result is the air quality o2 does go down because its displaced my co2. it just doesnt always lead to hypoxia and that other stuff. ok your turn how big is the corona virus and how big are the holes in the mask?

The whole idea behind masks is not that they stop virus particles by themselves, but that they can trap a lot of the liquid/vapor particles that carry the virus out of the lungs. They don't block everything, but they trap enough of those vapor particles that they lower the overall virus load expelled by an infected person through breathing, coughing, etc.

breathing causes a pumping action which pushes or pulls the liquid right through carrying the virus along with it. mask are also treated with moisture repellent, they dont soak up any thing, drop some water in one some time and watch it bead up. The mask doesnt work for something as small as corona virus and now what a person has at their mouth is a germ collection device that they breath on keeping it an ideal place for bacteria and molds. You ever notice how often people fiddle with their mask?? I do and i wonder when the last time they took a dump and touched it. its not pleasant grocery shopping.

coughing etc forces the liquid through the mask and atomizes it even further now it last longer on the air currents and travels farther. Perhaps that is why mask places have higher infection rates?

"The whole idea behind masks" its not about covid its about something else. I live in califorina USA the governor here put the pork to his best friends wife. if he treats his best friend like that how is he going to treat any one else?
