I was raised vegetarian until I was about 11 or so then said I wanted to eat meat. Became vegan cold turkey at the start of this year. I knew it was the "right" thing for a while but it wasn't until a while with the idea stuck in my head that I decided to change. Actually I only got into it because of politics since I started to believe in a communal society and the production of plants costs a society an order of magnitude less than the production of animal products with literally no downside and the upside of not killing a hundred million animals a day.

That's great that you've made the transition to veganism! Going cold turkey is certainly admirable as well.

My motivations were purely ethical/social/political/environmental, with the health benefits being purely secondary, or really to me, mostly irrelevant.

I don't care about what people do to their own bodies. I also don't think we should shame people for anything that doesn't affect others.

I do care when people try to make unhealthy lifestyles acceptable. Excessive eating is the same as smoking in my eyes: do it if you want to, but don't become a social justice warrior when some other social justice warrior points out that it's unhealthy.

Lastly, my main reason for being against fat shaming is because not everyone can actually do something about it.

most of them have such low self esteem they have no will power to lose the weight. people need to stand by one another and encourage.

I had really bad acne at one point in my life until Accutane cleared it up. I recall a million people telling me their genius original ideas like "proactive" as if I'd never heard of that or tried it before. People think they're being helpful, but naturally I see the fucking mirror and I can't do anything to fix it otherwise I would. It struck me that it was socially acceptable to point out the bumps on my face, but it's wrong to point out someone's fat ass. So after a few months I started, after hearing their genius remedies such as drinking lemon water, rubbing crushed up ibuprofen on my face, etc., I would reply "Wow thanks for the tip about my unfixable problem, I've heard of this original concept myself calling "jogging" or maybe it's "yogging," it might be a soft J (Anchorman line :) ) you should really try it to fix the physical appearance of your double chin and enlarged stomach." The look on these people's faces was fucking priceless. They have completely fixable issues (most of the time) by eating better and running, while I had something I medically couldn't fix, yet it's acceptable to "help" me but I can't "help" them?

Anyways, that's just a story, but yeah I don't mind fat shaming because I have to pay higher taxes because I have to pay their future healthcare costs because of their lack of self control. Yes, bash fatties just as you bash smokers, please, save our country and improve my bank account status.

Lol, sorry to burst your bubble. I hate fat people as much as I hate thieves. Both steal my money, just in different ways.

Anyone who has followed Aspen's reselling history on East NL could see he's not compassionate, he's a self determined businessman plain and simple.
