26% is great?
As always context is crucial. 26%, in a massive field, having spent virtually nothing because you constantly get free press (at times more than the rest of the field combined), less than 2 months before Iowa caucuses is a pretty good spot to be in. He's been their polling leader for the whole race. And he's running on virtually nothing.
He missed a golden opportunity in these last months to really build up a strong organization in the event that the party tries to screw him next year, but he still deserves credit for where he is.
