The f*** is this s*** about sending out socialist checks to americans?
Anyone want to elaborate on this talking point?
Why don't they reduce the national debt instead of giving the childish American public a check?
They are partly thinking that consumers spending money from the checks directly won’t be more inflationary than the government spending it. I disagree, in this case, but that’s their line of thinking.
Probably also testing waters to see how the public would react to such aid, should a recession begin shortly.
And finally to get a better PR and more support from regular people for their actions long term, once the post-election hype fades.
This would be my guesses.
It's not possible under the Federal Reserve System
Federal Reserve is not the system. Actually it’s not even the center of the current monetary system we live in. It’s a player in this system, with a moderate influence on how it evolves. Much smaller influence than people think.
