1) Would you ever bring this topic up in front of your entire family. I'm talking anything to do with Trump and litigation against him?

2) If you did bring this up in front of your entire family how many people would...

a. laugh and change subject
b. no response walk out of the room
c. tell you to get a job and stop worrying about some billionaire politicians lifestyle
d. Say you are wrong about Trump and should dig deeper into why he's so attacked
e. Say you are right but it doesn't impact your life whatsoever and you should probably "move on"

I'm only trying to help him. I have family and friends who are worse then him. i.e Get visibly upset if I even mention Trumps name

It's a real problem when you start to ignore reality itself and fixate on an individual who has no control over your life. Even if Trump won in 2024 that doesn't mean anyone's life is getting easier...the world itself is falling apart and Biden and Trump can't wave a magic wand and fix all the worlds problems.

Being rezoned for a single family residence does not mean you have cart Blanche to break it up into multiple lots for independent development. That, in fact, also requires rezoning to break up your lots and apply necessary easements and is dependent on the city to do so.

In fact Trump explicitly doesn't have that right both due to the historical preservation of the site, and his land use agreement, and his federal conservation easement.

Being able to divide and sell off parcels of a large single family zoned lot is a given for any developable property and the land use agreement has nothing to so with it. You guys just hogpiled in on the incredibly ignorant belief that 'single family zoning' somehow means you can't chop up a lot and build multiple single family homes on it. Which is what happens all the time and is bog standard developer payday. You cited the land use agreement which explicitly says it reverts to single family residential zoning any time he wants, which means being zoned as a commercial club and resort can only add to its value.

If you want to make different arguments you should make them. I only responded to the ones made in this thread and pointed out with some incredulity how wrong yall are about the most basic land zoning terms

There land use agreement explicitly says any modifications have to be approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission and the lot cannot be broken apart. This does not change as a result of zoning.

He explicitly does not have the right to break it up into residential lots even if it reverts to a single family residence zoning

The land cannot be broken up and "this provision shall survive the use of the property as a club and shall apply to any subsequent use of the property".




Trump cannot modify any critical features without permission from the landmarks preservation commission
