You perfectly demonstrate what is wrong with this discussion. Your first sarcastic line is spot on. Your 2nd line still goes, it's figurative and edgy, but it still goes. Then your 3rd line you just go full classless and your whole argument goes down the drain

its funny that "place where black man died" becomes "shithole city". MN-ST Paul is quite nice.

Love how white people will be like "this isn't the nicest part of town" and it's just black people existing.

its not my fault that white neighborhoods usually look much better

there are plenty of white ghetto areas, but for some stupid reason black communities are more focused on their victim narrative and almost proud of it

the audacity to make posters like that in a dirty place full of trash and graffiti is mindblowing

Ask yourself if you were a small business owner looking to open a place up would you go to the Min-St.Paul area or look somewhere else?

Like, look at those visuals in the link. Why would I expose myself to losses when I can go open up places in suburbia. With time this is how ghettos are created. This happens/happened in tons of cities across the states. My city's downtown is fairly rundown and there's really not much to do compared to going into the suburbs.

basing a judgement on the aftermath of race riots for where to place a business would presume that such an event were likely to happen again. i guess lightning could strike twice, and there could be another police killing in St Paul, but that's just speculation. in the poorer areas rent is cheap, especially now, although revenue is also likely to be lower than a safer area.

my point tho was if i were to make a list of HELL NO locations MN-St paul wouldnt even crack my top 10, prob not even my top 20. even with hindsight of the aftermath. non-riot based crime would be the factor id focus on, as well as revenue. Minnesota is a decent state in both categories.

Except lightning has been striking like once or twice a month. Riots are not localized to where the incident happened. We saw riots all over the US. Black guys are going to continue to get shot by police. Whether it's justified or not will be irrelevant because half the time these protests/riots are very reactive even without getting all of the facts.
