Was that delay substantiated though? It would take a few hours at most to update a printing press or whatever machine they're using to include a signature.
1-2 week delay for that reason is pretty farfetched to me.

there was no delay other than congress taking months to get their spending duties in order. maybe it was a day or two for paper checks. it’s all revisionist history

So criticize Republicans. Biden has the proposal ready to go, and no Republicans got on board with it or even made a reasonable proposal for Biden to compromise with. Best we got was 6 Republicans (not the 10 or 12 that would be needed to break a filibuster) offering substantially smaller checks and far less money to needed areas.

Here's the reality: Biden wanted $2,000 checks before he got elected, Trump had his people negotiate $600 checks. After that Trump tried to pretend he wasn't part of the negotiation and wanted $2,000 checks. Biden promised to fulfill the amount to $2,000. He kept his promise. Anybody who tracked these events knows that the $1,400 issued was a fulfillment of Biden's desire to get $2,000 checks.

If you want to criticize Trump for his failure, that's reasonable. Biden made up for it.

Kind of hilarious that the Trumpists and socialists are making the same silly criticism.
