Someone says Donald Trump is racist because he wants to remove illegals the only reasonable thing to say is he is not racist and illegals isn't a race. This is directly refuting their point and covers why deporting illegals shouldn't be offensive to latinos/hispanics.
If I am wrong here what would you suggest is a better method of discourse?
Targeting illegal immigrants will have a resounding negative impact on Latino populations. As Hispanics make up the overwhelming bulk of illegal immigrants in the US. Its a logical outcome of the witchhunt that must follow if someone were to attempt to deport illegals.
Take a look at the backlash of butch looking women being mistaken for trans and harassed for using their gender at birth correct bathroom, then expand it to a far larger population with far more distinct visual characteristics and lumped together into neighborhoods.
As i type this i realize i have had this exact conversation with you, and i told you last time there are plenty of laws that law enforcement and legislators chose not to enforce for reasons similar to this. I agree that border security and the wall itself shouldnt draw offense, however suggesting mexico pay to secure our border certainly can be construed as offensive to some. But to suggest an act (mass deportation) shouldnt be seen as offensive to the population that it will negatively stigmatize it really really silly to me. Please explain to me how it isnt.
