Decent episode

I'm not very familiar with the kid but I see people post clips of his here from time to time

Mixed when it comes to agreement and disagreement but he made some good points during the conversation and the overall episode is worth a watch if you're following the current happenings with social media and bans and all that

I'm pretty familiar with him. He used to be an on-the-ground independent journalist at a lot of these political protests, but mostly does news story reviews now.
He does a pretty good job coming across as reasonable, considerate and decent. Hes left-leaning or moderate/centrist on a lot of things but is a big critic of the far-left/antifa etc.

I second Cambs thoughts. Yes, he's much more moderate with a little more of a lean to the left.
He seems like a pretty intelligent guy, is educated on the subject at hand, and he shells out lots of short videos on different topics regularly. And he provides excellent critique on the subject at hand.

I've been watching him for a few weeks and I recommend him.

Ps. I was under the impression at one point that you didn't like Rogan Beowulf. Something change? :P

Gives me the Dave Rubin vibe and I'm no fan of Dave Rubin

I'll have to follow him casually to see if he makes the ultimate profiteering leap like Rubin did from pretending to be a liberal to pretending to be an open minded liberal that only let conservatives shit all over liberals for an hour to pretending to be a libertarian etc etc etc for money

The problem with these characters at this point in time is that they are voices for hire, political snakes

Rubin does it, Blaire does it, Ana Navarro does it, on and on there are people that are generally full of shit that find money in claiming to be one thing while working with the other side to consistently shit on what they claim to be

Which for example is why 2 conservatives would pop in and claim support for content of a guy that claims to be an ex far leftist that is now a moderate lefty where most of the content I've seen is actually just shitting on the left (which is currently a profitable business plan for youtube)

That might not be him but it's certainly a common occurrence in the current political internet/podcast/etc climate

You are missing the fact that the left has radically shifted into lunacy in recent years and normal democrats and moderates are pushed out and turned off by it.
That isnt selling out.

It turns out that merely being somewhat reasonable and considerate and willing to condemn literal terrorists makes someone a standout voice among leftists in the current year.
Non-identitarians and non-marxists are coalescing around common sense, decency and reason.

Conservatives aren't against the left because of some recent event it's because you/they are conservative and aren't moderates

It's why the right have had the same exact talking points against the left for decades and vice versa.

Youtubers/podcasters capitalizing on it are no different than mainstream media capitalizing on it

The irony is people that spend all day screaming fake/biased/crooked news on both sides fall for the same tactics with their favorite youtubers

This doesn't erase the radical shift and reasons to be against them

trying to 'both sides' and calling everyone sellouts for disagreeing or opposing the radical left isnt going to cut it.
There are perfectly valid and moral reasons to oppose and speak out against the radical left.
