Do i really need to elaborate for you to understand what's currently happening at the border?

Nope, I also shouldn’t expect coherent replies from you.

As you were, carry on.

There's nothing wrong with people emigrating to America.

It's when folks come to America but don't want to assimilate with Americans. Folks that want their own country should stay where that country already is.

The US is NOT open for... settlers anymore. It's already BEEN settled. People that come here now-a-days should come here because they want to embrace the "American way".
It ain't rocket science. It's pretty simple.

If I decided to pack up and emigrate to a different country... I wouldn't be going there to set up a little America in someone else's country. I'd be going there to embrace whatever set up THEY have.

Using millions of historical census records and modern birth certificates, we document that immigrants assimilated into US
society at similar rates in the past and present. We measure cultural assimilation as immigrants giving their children less foreign names
after spending more time in the United States, and show that immigrants erase about one‑half of the naming gap with natives after
20 years both historically and today. Immigrants from poorer countries choose more foreign names upon first arrival in both periods
but are among the fastest to shift toward native‑sounding names. We find substantial cultural assimilation for immigrants of all education
levels.

Less that indicative paper. It's about name choices as indicators of assimilation.
I would venture to say there's a bit more to assimilation than name choices. :)

Well, why don't you provide your scholarly documentation on these additional assimilation factors to Princeton University, then?

Hey. Credit for an up to date paper from a quality institution.

BUT, a LOT of the immigrants aren't trying to assimilate. This is from seeing it with my own two eyes.

Sure a lot of folks are trying to assimilate. But most aren't. They may seem to on the surface, but as soon as you turn your back...
I spent a couple years in NYC and 20 years in the SF area. Both are melting pots.

I dunno bro, we must have different experiences.
