I mean...sounds like we're in good company? We're definitely in the top quartile which is good.
Cato (based on 2018 data) places the US at 17 in human freedom, 27 in individual freedom, and 6 in economic freedom. It seems like your ranking is roughly in line with what Cato, the ultimate libertarian think tank, believes.
I think people like ^cambovenzi might prefer to live in countries with higher levels of freedom than America.
Top 5 for human freedom: New Zealand, Switzerland, Hong Kong (NOT ANYMORE!!!), Denmark, and Australia
Top 5 for individual freedom: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg, and New Zealand
Top 5 for economic freedom: Hong Kong (poor guys), Singapore, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Australia
It seems to me that libertarians in America should be fighting to be more like New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, etc. Hell, maybe they should consider MOVING there.
CATO are a bunch of cucks, not the ultimate libertarian thinktank.
Their criteria and rankings are also wildly different from the one supportively cited by fender.
Using metrics like size of government, freedom to trade, freedom of association, regulations, etc is far better than the nonsensical leftist garbage in fender's post that misdefines freedom as equality, less polarization and democracy.
libertarians
are fighting for more liberty in America. That doesn't mean emulating non-libertarian aspects of countries someone ranked higher in economic freedom.
