You know, if you're totally ignorant about a subject and don't even know who the heck people being referenced are, you can just choose not to post replies about it instead of trying to stumble and bs your way through it. This isn't some awkward in person social interaction where you have to smile and nod and pretend. Natan Sharansky, who you have never heard of until today, did not spring into existence just 3 days ago with a column in Tablet. He's been a politician, activist and leader of counter-anti-semitism organizations with a particularly well known theoretical framework for how to define antisemitism and distinguish it from legitimate criticism of israel. You know, the topic we were talking about. The guy who actually codified what qualities define antisemitism and used his personal history of combating a regime that weaved that line of antizionism and antisemitism in its oppression.

Where is he a politican? :)
I already explained why his opinion does not prove what you want it to and you didn't address that, just tried to obfuscate it once again. Funny how despite him being such a good source you chose to quote the ADL instead, just grabbing the first sources that confirm your beliefs I guess?

The crowd was cheering and clapping its approval. You just made some absolutely baseless insinuation of a false flag conspiracy theory in a throwaway comment, all too ironically to support your point trying to distance yourself from antisemitic tropes. I saw that crowd with my own eyes, I know it was real, you're here trying to spin some wild line about doubting its authenticity.
Just to be clear the cheering and clapping you are referring to is that one video of the hamas member driving past on an ATV, where one person in the crowd goes "woooooo!"?

So the right wing accusations of nazi flag wavers being feds is realistic but accusing the masked hamas guy of being one is insane conspiracy?

I don't care about distancing myself from antisemitic tropes because I care about accuracy more than virtue signaling. I'm not antisemitic and don't need to prove it to you or anyone else, you can assume I am if you like though. Again this behaviour is hilarious to see from the right who for years has complained about this sort of slander from leftists.

And that's really all you've got at this point, isn't it? Telling us not to believe our own eyes? That's why I like freedom of speech so much. You can't defend the people shouting their support for another holocaust. If you could censor them, you could pretend they didn't hold their terrorist sympathies. Well I've always said to believe nazis and terrorists when they tell you what they are, and boy do they love waving Hamas flags and Swastikas in public

This is an amazing display of mental gymnastics. It is funny how emotional and ridiculous you behave when you can't rely on facts, you are acting just like leftists have for years. The funniest part of all of this is that even if you were correct about any of this nonsense it would not justify the ethnic cleansing taking place at the moment.

All it took for you to regress 20 years into a George Dubya JR republican was a couple lies from the Israeli government. You have been radicalized by leftist ideology to such an extent you base your worldview on it even though you oppose it. You can't differentiate between Palestinians and the people you despise in your own country and the scariest thing is despite conflating the two your preferred method of solving the problem is ethnic cleansing.

I'm going to start a new drinking game for PARD

If you cared about being accurate in your definitions you'd probably pay attention to the leading theorists in the field who spent their whole lives elaborating on the subject you're fumbling about. People who made the explicit distinction between what are antisemitic tropes and what are criticisms of israel and its policies. Now, I could explain to you why "denying the Jewish people's right to existence and self-determination" is so fundamental a concept in discussions about antisemitism and the Israeli-Palestinian peace process that its not just foremost in such frameworks but featured right at the forefront of high level peace talks like the oslo accords and camp david summit. But at this point its a bit like teaching a fish to climb a tree

Sure if that makes you feel better about it go ahead, it certainly couldn't make your arguments any worse.

What have I fumbled? Seems I've addressed every point you've brought up and you haven't been able to argue with any of it. Maybe read through our conversation again when you've calmed down a bit. I do love the "trust the experts" angle though, always great for times when you can't back something up yourself. I wonder how consistent you are in this view :)

Anti zionism is not "denying the Jewish people's right to existence and self-determination" though so explain away, it won't help you in supporting the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. Jews existed before zionism and will exist after it is dead, many most likely in what is left of israel as the western power supporting it wanes. If you truly cared about keeping jews safe you wouldn't conflate them with zionists because that is the number one cause of hatred towards them. If you truly cared about keeping the jews safe you wouldn't insist the only way to do so is by using them as a western colony and foothold in a hostile region who has never agreed to the imposition.

Do Arab/Muslim people feel obliged to support Palestinians regardless of the atrocities Hamas committed in the name of Islamic jihad?

I certainly see that phenomenon.

You see them waking up in Gaza now.

A mother that lost her child yells all this is because of Hamas dogs
And her son puts his hand on her mouth to try and shut her up because he is afraid for her life

Yup. Automatic supporters. Some of them wouldn’t be able to locate Israel on the map yet they support their Muslim brothers.

They aren't a monolith so it varies, there are Muslims and Arabs who support everything Israel does just as there are Muslims and Arabs who support everything Hamas does. Look at all the military arms being shipped from Islamic countries to Israel, they obviously aren't all in for Hamas or they would be sending them in an entirely different fashion.

Most Muslims and Arabs probably do support Palestine but whether that translates to uncritical support of every action committed in their name is not black and white. You are generally supportive of western power yet you don't support everything western countries do, it is the same thing here.

Is it not a fact that the Israeli government has drawn up plans to get rid of Palestinians from the river to the sea ? Is it not double standards to condemn Hamas (who cannot achieve this goal) and not the Israeli Government, who can achieve this goal, and are expediting this goall ?

happy to debate the point, but if challenging, please make reference to the Israeli plans, which have been documented and proven factual.

yes, the wrongfully and illegally imprisoned and discriminated against should just stop resisting if they don't want to get killed at vastly disproportionate rates, true. i'm sure you would, but some people value freedom and human dignity.

i merely posted that graphic to debunk the simplistic "israel is the poor innocent victim living in constant fear" narrative, when the simple reality is that it has been arresting, torturing, discriminating, maiming and murdering journalists, protesters, civilians, kids, doctors, and women for decades, significantly more than hamas terrorists did, and it has been destroying homes and wells, stealing land and resources, blocking aid and equipment that palestinians need to build a better society for decades.

here's what an ACTUAL call to genocide looks like:

https://i.imgur.com/fw3Rm2C.jpeg

"... spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling..." - and the IDF as well as israeli "settlers" in west bank (something we just seem to ignore in this thread) are doing exactly that.

you might wanna ask the hamas leadership with its millionaires and even billionaires where all the resources are ^_^

they are in their pockets or invested to attempt to next holocaust

that plus digging up water pipes for rockets and then blame israel for the misery, while still having obesity rates like the west (how can you starve people and they are still fat?)

"YOU HAS NO WATER COS OF THEM JUICE!!!!11! ALLAHU AKBAR"

fucking hamas propaganda
