how come every meme that points out how america's self-image, particularly in regards to their freedom™, is not based on facts and reality, gets so many triggered replies, lol?

Because your "memes" are not pointing out facts, they are hackery intended to fuel the "eagle land bad" circlejerk.

I mean...sounds like we're in good company? We're definitely in the top quartile which is good.

Cato (based on 2018 data) places the US at 17 in human freedom, 27 in individual freedom, and 6 in economic freedom. It seems like your ranking is roughly in line with what Cato, the ultimate libertarian think tank, believes.

I think people like might prefer to live in countries with higher levels of freedom than America.

Top 5 for human freedom: New Zealand, Switzerland, Hong Kong (NOT ANYMORE!!!), Denmark, and Australia
Top 5 for individual freedom: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg, and New Zealand
Top 5 for economic freedom: Hong Kong (poor guys), Singapore, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Australia

It seems to me that libertarians in America should be fighting to be more like New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, etc. Hell, maybe they should consider MOVING there.

just because you don't LIKE the facts, doesn't mean they aren't true. i know your "reality" is based on #ALTERNATIVE facts, but that's a you problem...

fact is that the country that considers its freedom™ its defining characteristic actually scores significantly lower in that category than many of its "socialist" peers - and whenever someone dares to point that out, so called "patriots" get mad at the messenger and pretend it's not true, rather than acknowledging the issues and trying to improve their country, lol. that's the difference between actual patriotism, and braindead, flag-waving jingoism...

Meanwhile, in deep blue Maryland where Democrats have been in control of all levels of government since before our grandparents were born:

There's even a specific term which had to be invented for maps like these: "bridge-contiguous".

what list of "best places for transgender black men to live" are you referring to? it's amazing how eager some people are to strawman the point, just because they don't like it, lol.

there are plenty of rankings that try to evaluate and compare "freedom" in different countries. obviously no one is forced to agree with the specific methods or metrics chosen of any of them, but something they ALL have in common is that the ONE country, that constantly touts their alleged freedom™, never gets a top rank - especially when compared to its peer countries (those "socialist" hellholes whose policies america could never implement because its citizens are too freedom™-loving, lol).

yeah, nice try with the bothsidesism, but the reality is: https://election.princeton.edu/2012/12/30/gerrymanders-part-1-busting-the-both-sides-do-it-myth/

facts don't care about your feelings and whataboutisms. the point stands.
