See, and that's the point: the spread of infectious diseases is exponential in nature, so when a novel virus hits a population without preexisting immunities and you have no meaningful mitigation measures in place (like shutdowns/social distancing), then the absolute numbers should grow faster and faster instead of increasing by a constant amount per day.

Sweden only has 9,357 tests per million population. Which tells me that their other numbers aren't accurate.

Well, it's slightly exponential and slowed while they are in the phase before the "explosion"

I read some swedish scientists are saying 60% of Stockholm population will be "immunized" in May.
Weird... That's 600.000 people.

North Eu countries have more "division" within generation, could make things easier.

Yet all i see is the risk of : potential gross mistake to miss the opportunity to reduce the amounts to Zero for a while with a strong, temporary, containment. They are maybe not the only ones doing this mistake.

Sweden is not using scruboquine from Raoult guru frog eater anymore, that may be the reason.
