I am a moderate but:

People don't like restricting women's reproductive rights. States shouldn't decide.
People laugh at the war on "wokism" where R's just cry about everything with zero substance
People are intelligent enough to realize that inflation is happening on a global scale

The most humorous thing is that this lunatic will be the Republican nominee again in 2024. It would be poetic for him to lose again to Biden in 2024, because that's what Republican voters deserve, but I'd prefer DeSantis beats him and the Trump cult fades out. Democracy > partisanship.

Some of both sides oppose because it's a federal takeover.

DeSantis ran on being anti woke and turned Miami red. I wouldn’t say it has zero substance. I would say most politicians are extremely out of touch. It is easy to go on Fox News fully prepped and ready to say convenient things for a minute or two. It is another to be very explicit about specific problems and enact policies to solve the problems you presented.

They're not going to change a system which has been plainly clear since the dawn of the republic to appease the OCD of one person, LOL.
