Refusing to call civil union marriage is not illegal. Doesn't matter how much you hate it.

But a civil union isn't a thing in America, marriage is. You sign a certificate of marriage. That is it. You don't create something else for people based on classes that it is illegal to discriminate against. That is just criminal.

Creating a special class for people is not illegal. Creating "civil union" isn't illegal. In fact it's necessary, since marriage does not fit in this context.

And if civil union isn't a thing in America yet, we can make it one. You lefties aren't the only ones who can bring your vision to reality.

Separate but equal is definitely illegal buddy.
