Agreed. This is basically already happening now too. During lockdown people gained 20 pounds each on average and basically gave up on dating in real life.

This is funny and all, but its dramatically reductionist. There are like ten different factors involved in what is going on, and this is just one symptom.

And "dating tips" don't work in general. If you want a relationship to work, you need to read from a real cognitive psychologist with a successful marriage like Dr. Pat Allen.

My post wasn't intended to be super serious or an in-depth analysis.
But yes, I do believe that people nowadays are less obsessed with dating and sex than they used to be 15-20 years ago. But maybe that's just me getting old...

Women have partner counts higher than ever before these days so that's definitely a lie, the nature of the dating game has just changed significantly. And if you threaten these women during the study with a polygraph, they increase their partner counts by 100%.

I've been lucky to know good women, but the numbers are pretty bad for average people.
