Yoko is an amazing artist and the Beatles would have broken up anyway. She's the reason that the Beatles didn't end with John OD'ing on heroin.

Plus the Beatles were never that good in the first place.

From what I've heard of her making cameos in Beatles songs, I'm going to have to disagree. I'm sure she's great at opera, though, since that was her thing.

She's so cutting edge that her time hasn't come yet. I honestly think that in like 200 years, someone is going to rediscover Yoko and it's going to revolutionize music and other forms of art for at least a couple of decades.

And yes, the Beatles are the greatest band of all time, and suicide is the only solution.

TVU is pretty fucking amazing, but they're 100% simply picking up the Beatles' legacy and extending it, whereas the Beatles forged that legacy one note at a time.

...if by music you mean a roomful of cats and rocking chairs I might agree . The Beatles were of course the greatest of all time and probably will be for all time but Yoko is exactly where she should be ,a forgotten relic of John's drug addled past .

I don't think the VU owe anything to the Beatles and in fact think they would have been able to make exactly the music they made without the Beatles ever having existed, while the contrary certainly would not be true (especially White Album and on).
